Our mission is to make every event feel well planned, personal and enjoyable. We provide DJ, sound and lighting services for birthdays, family parties, small weddings, corporate functions and private celebrations, combining multi-genre music, reliable equipment and flexible Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages to suit your venue, audience and budget.

Our Story

Direct Sounds was founded in Leeds in 2003, where we were asked to provide music for a charity fundraiser. What started as a simple event with limited equipment quickly became a trusted DJ service known for Bollywood, Bhangra, Punjabi and mainstream party music. Since then, Direct Sounds has grown through recommendations, repeat bookings and a commitment to creating well-run events with the right music, sound and lighting.

Over the years, we've grown from humble beginnings to hosting and organising over 300 club events, including a six-year residency at Spice Bar, Leeds. Alongside DJing, we’ve worked in sound system installations and audio setups, giving us extensive expertise in both music performance and technical sound solutions.

Today, Direct Sounds continues to combine music knowledge, technical experience and a personal approach to event planning. Every booking is handled with care, from understanding your music preferences to recommending the right sound, lighting and extras for your venue.
